Speaking Engagements
In my TED-style talk, Guppies in the Boardroom, I delve into the intersection of science and women’s empowerment by examining the biological phenomenon of andromorphism and its application to women in male-dominated workplaces. Drawing on my 2023 ISEMPH research, I highlight that, unlike guppies who cannot change their environment, women have the power to uplift one another and thrive. This talk has taken me from the UN to engaging discussions at organizations like Facebook, EY, Team Liquid, and Motorola, where I’ve had the privilege of not only sharing my research but also connecting with women about their own journeys.
